Clever Fish After School Academic Programme runs 3.30 – 5.30pm in term time for students in Years 4 – 11 (aged 8-16 years old)

We offer a one stop shop for busy parents.

Students can join us at the end of their school day and can stay with us until 5.30pm.

• From 3.30 – 5.00pm all students work in small groups with a qualified and experienced teacher.
• From 5.00 – 5.30pm students can relax, chat, play games, read, all under the supervision of teachers.

Primary students (Years 4, 5 and 6) work with Mr Toby, our Primary Specialist and school SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator)

Under Mr Toby’s guidance, primary students’ complete homework properly. Mr Toby will ensure that work is understood and will provide support or extension work as needed.

High School students (Years 7 -11) have access to a range of subject specialist teachers.

High School students can complete homework, under the guidance of the subject teacher, gaining any help needed. Additionally, when students require extra support or challenge in a particular subject it can be given. All of our teachers have a proven track record of success at examination level and can offer assistance to students preparing for internal or external school examinations, tests and assessments.

High School students may choose to divide their time amongst the teachers they work with.  For example, they may arrive and wish to work with our Maths Teachers to complete an assignment they are struggling with. After this, they may sit with our History teacher on a project they have been asked to work on. Lastly, they may need help revising their French which they can do with our MFL teacher. Students have access to all of our teachers, getting any help they need for any subject.

Parents can provide us with a specific focus area. You may want your child to complete homework or you may wish for them to work with a specific teacher each week on a specific subject.  Our aim is that when you collect your child at 5.30pm all work is complete, and home is for family time.

We charge $50 an afternoon and invoice at the beginning of each half term.

Numbers are limited so that all students can get the individual attention they need.

You may decide to send your child each Wednesday for example, and you would be invoiced for the Wednesdays in the coming half term.

Some children attend once a week, many attend two or more days each week – it is up to you!
